Abstract

The article discusses the new aspects of the European Guidelines for the management of patients with arterial hypertension (AH) 2013. Presents a new version of stratification in patients with AH on the level of cardiovascular risk, the latest data regarding the predictive value of quiescent lesion of target organs, recommendations on the choice of antihypertensive therapy. Discusses the outpatient methods of registration of arterial pressure.
