Hypercoagulation disorders and thrombotic readiness in cardiac patients with malignant neoplasms of various localizations
AbstractIt is known that a burdened oncological anamnesis is an independent risk factor for thrombotic events. In most previous studies, a history of oncological disease was an exclusion criterion. In the present work, the presence of breast cancer (BC) and primary multiple cancer (PMC) in cardiac patients was the main inclusion criterion in the study. At the same time, the analysis of the influence of the localization of a malignant neoplasm on hemocoagulation changes and the severity of the state of thrombotic readiness (STR) in cardiac patients with a burdened oncological anamnesis has not been previously conducted.
Aim – to evaluate and compare the hemocoagulation status and the severity of thrombotic readiness in comorbid patients with cardiovascular diseases with malignant neoplasms of various localizations.
Material and methods. A sample of 100 patients with cardiovascular pathology and oncological pathology in the anamnesis was analyzed. Among them, 64 patients had breast cancer, and 36 patients had VUR. The state of hemostasis was assessed using a standard coagulogram and the Thrombodynamics test, according to the results of which patients with STH were identified (n=51). Among them, 34 patients had cardiovascular diseases combined with breast cancer, and 17 patients had VUR.
Results. It was revealed that the state of the hemostasis system and the severity of hypercoagulation changes were comparable in both study groups (p>0.05).
Conclusion. Thus, in cardiac patients, hemocoagulation parameters are comparable in such different localizations as breast cancer and VUR (p>0.05).
