Clinical cases of cardiovascular complications of hypothyroidism
AbstractHypothyroidism is a common endocrine pathology, which is characterized by a decrease in the functions thyroid gland and a sharp thyroid hormones deficiency. The presented clinical cases describe such cardiovascular complications of hypothyroidism as decompensated heart failure and hydropericardium in patients hospitalized in the third cardiology department of the St. Petersburg State Medical Institution “Alexander Hospital”.
