Antibiotic treatment for post-injection endocarditis with a resistant flora in a patient with thrombophilia
AbstractInfectious endocarditis (IE) associated with medical care accounts for up to 30% of all causes of the disease and is characterized by a severe prognosis. Recently, there has been an increase in the incidence of such complications, which is a truly serious problem. The following is a case of IE associated with peripheral vein catheterization in a patient with thrombophilia.
