Type 2 myocardial infarction as a manifestation in oncohematologic patients

Abstract

Acute leukemia is a rare cause of myocardial infarction. Differential diagnostics of type 1 and 2 myocardial Infarction in oncohematology is difficult, since thrombosis is relatively rare, especially as an initial symptom. Rapid definition of the underlying medical condition and well-timed anticoagulant and antileukemic chemotherapy administration play a pivotal role in further recrudescence prevention and survival in patients with type 2 myocardial infarction.
