Effectiveness of spironolactone in patients with heart failure

AbstractThe articLe is devoted to spironoLactone cLinicaL effectiveness estimation in patients with chronic heart faiLure (CHF). This medication has a wide spectrum of positive effects due to its competitive antagonism with aLdosterone, which possesses proinfLammatory and fibrotic activity. Literature data shows the influence of spirinoLactone on bLood pressure LeveLs, exercise toLerance and others cLinicaL indicators which determines Life quaLity and prognosis in patients with (CHF). ReaLLy important aspect of spirinoLactone therapy is its positive influence on demographic and epidemioLogic aspects such as risk of death and hospitaLization rates. This Leads to a wide usage of spironoLactone in patients with preserved and Low Left ventricLe ejection fraction.
