Thromboembolic complications on the back of antithrombotic therapy: cardiologist and hematologist view of the problem
AbstractBleeding, thrombocytopenia and thrombosis are the most frequent complications of antithrombotic therapy in cardiology practice. The number of causes of thromboembolic complications in this patient population may include: inadequacy of treatment effect, treatment futility, low compliance, resistance, presence of a disease or condition manifested by clinical picture of arterial and/or venous thrombosis. In such cases detailed analysis is carried out taking into account many factors.
