Formation of the right heart chambers in norm and pathology

Abstract

The review article presents various structures of the right heart, which can occur both in norm and in pathology. The possibilities of diagnostics and differential diagnostics of normal anatomical variants and pathological masses by means of echocardiography are considered. The data of clinical and echocardiographic examples in patients with masses in the right chambers of the heart are presented. The details of doubtful cases when patients should be referred for additional examinations to verify the diagnosis are discussed.
